Practical skills. Lasting opportunity.
We aim to provide hands-on training in skilled trades, preparing young people for employment and sustainable careers while helping meet the needs of vital industries and local communities.
The Youth Empowerment Committee (YEC) is dedicated to helping young people ages 15 to 22 build the practical skills, knowledge, and confidence to prepare for adulthood and make a positive impact in their communities.
We envision a society where every young person is prepared to navigate life with confidence, contribute meaningfully, and pursue a prosperous future.
Our approach centers on skills that can open doors in today’s economy and prepare young people for the opportunities ahead.

We seek to equip young people with the financial knowledge to manage resources, save, make informed decisions, and build wealth for themselves and their families.
We aim to develop modern digital skills, including an understanding of emerging technologies, so young people can become creators and contributors in a changing world.
By addressing gaps in skills and opportunity, YEC seeks to strengthen communities and support economic vitality. We are seeking investment and partnership from corporations and philanthropic organizations that share our commitment to developing a skilled, adaptable, and financially knowledgeable generation.
Join us in preparing young people to meet tomorrow’s challenges and opportunities with confidence.
